TAS Industry launched its first leather bag collection with one thing in mind: "Fashion passes, style remains". TAS Industry is the creation of Renate Bobeldijk. Renate began her artistic career in technical product development and design 15 years ago in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. After immigrating to Canada in early 2005 she launched the Renate Bobeldijk Design Company, offering pattern making and design services to the apparel industry.

Renate's true ambition is to create. The Hip Bag is one such effort, designed to express purpose and style with the motivation for personal use. A succession of compliments from friends and strangers invoked the inspiration that brought forth TAS Industry.
